15 amp Point Pod Pop-Up

The top cup accommodates countertop inserts up to 1.18" (30mm) thick. Standard 3cm thick countertops fit without modification, though minor leveling adjustments may be needed after installation. If your countertop is 2cm thick, plan to add a wood shim beneath the surface to bring the insert flush with the top cup. Butcher block and other materials work well — just keep the insert thickness under 30mm.

Point Pod requires at least 18" (457mm) of clearance beneath the countertop, plus 6 5/16" of width for the flange. Make sure a standard receptacle is within 5.5' of the unit so the 6' cord can reach without strain.

Yes. The Point Pod Connect is ETL Listed for the US and Canada, certified to UL 962A and CSA C22.2 No. 308, and complies with the 2023 NEC 406.5(E) requirement for kitchen countertop and island installations. It is tamper-resistant and rated IP44 for water and spill resistance. If liquid reaches the unit, it drains safely into the cabinet below rather than into the mechanism. The unit also includes an obstruction sensor that automatically reverses direction if it meets resistance while closing.

Point Pod Pop-Up outlets are available in Silver and Black. Each unit includes two AC outlets, two 15W USB-C ports, and one USB-A port, enough to connect up to five devices at once.

The Point Pod Connect is a 15 amp outlet. For customers located in Canada, it's important to be aware that local electrical codes may require a 20 amp outlet. Verify whether your local code mandates a specific outlet requirement and plan accordingly to ensure compliance. Addressing this aspect beforehand will prevent any issues with regulatory compliance and ensure a smooth installation process.

Each Point Pod ships with one motorized pop-up unit featuring a 6' long power cord, and a parts set that includes the mounting flange, outer ring, and clamp. An installation manual is also included. The countertop insert is cut from your own surface material by your fabricator and is not included with the unit.
