Docking Drawer outlets are designed to seamlessly fit into drawers with at least 2 inches of space behind the drawer box. For applications with less space—often found in closet or inset cabinets—you can use the spacer technique to install into as little as 1.25 inches of space behind the drawer box. Note: The drawer box cutout is slightly larger than the outlet cut out in the spacer to make room for the Blade Series outlet arms that extend into the drawer box.
