We ordered the Point Pod in matte black finish for our kitchen center island to complement our other finishes. It turned out great and is a fun party trick to show off!
I was looking for a pop-up device that was unobtrusive and blended in well with the island. This one fit the bill and it works great. It’s super convenient while preparing on the island for my blender and mixer. It wasn’t too difficult to install, just make sure you have a good amount of room underneath. Overall, I can highly recommend.
The pop up is aesthetically pleasing. It is barely noticeable across the room because it is so discreet. However, the countertop company mentioned it was way more work than anticipated installing, I did not realize the shaft was so long which required all my drawers to have to be cut to accommodate and then it did not pass our electrical inspection. We are required to have 20 amps and it has to be hard wired. Even after electrician hard wired the items, because of the amps we had to replace entirely with Hubble pop ups. The idea of this product is nice, but they were a huge disappointing hassle. I wish I had gone with the Hubble in the first place. Now I have to deal with cut drawers, time and money loss.
