Simple & Effortless Setup
Installing the 20-amp Hubbell Pop-Up Outlet is straightforward. Start by cutting a 3.5” round hole, then hardwire your wires to the bottom of the pop-up unit. Gently lower the pop-up outlet into the hole, securing it in place with the lock nut underneath the counter. It accepts both non-metallic sheathed cable and metal conduit, easily achieved using a wire clamp or a ½” knockout. To prioritize safety, connect the pop-up outlet to a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected circuit. UL Listed for countertop installation, the Hubbell Pop-Up Outlet undergoes rigorous testing to ensure its cables withstand high levels of electricity and can stop excessive electricity flow with a safety switch. Hubbell guarantees uncompromised safety and durability, with the pop-up functionality enduring a minimum of 10,000 test cycles.
