16 Devices, One Smart Charging Station
& Zero Clutter!

When Kelly from Studio 37 Cabinetry (@studio37cabinetry) set out to transform her kitchen’s bar nook, she wasn’t just looking for a stylish upgrade—she wanted a powerhouse charging station that could handle her family’s daily tech demands. With Docking Drawer in-drawer outlets seamlessly integrated into her custom cabinetry, she created a hidden hub capable of charging 16 devices at once. “My kids need their Chromebooks charged every night, plus Apple Watches, phones, AirPods—even our vacuum,” Kelly shares. By adding two charging drawers instead of one, she ensured there was space for everything without a tangle of cords cluttering the countertop.

"Docking Drawer provided a way to add additional functionality to this space. Tucked into the bar nook of the kitchen, this drawer allows for an organized space to store electronic devices."

Each drawer is equipped with Docking Drawer Blade Duo outlets, featuring (4) USB ports, (2) USB-C ports, and (2) standard AC outlets—a total game-changer for a busy household. And because functionality should never compromise style, Kelly chose a satin brass outlet cover plate that blends beautifully with her cabinetry. Now, whether she’s entertaining guests or keeping her family’s devices powered up, this once-overlooked nook has become an essential, high-performance charging station.

"Hi, I'm Kelly from Studio 37 Cabinetry. Welcome to my home. This is my kitchen, and I'd like to show you my Butler's Pantry, which is lined by the powder room and the dining room. I use this as a flex space, also an area for charging all the things. Let's take a look. So this is a fully custom cabinet in Walmart. This stocking drawer was able to be installed in the factory, but I've also done it for clients in semi-custom cabinetry. Both of these units have the four USB outlets, the two USB-C, and then the two regular outlets. And I opted for the satin brass outlet cover plate, which I think is so beautiful against the Walmart. I'm really happy I did two drawers and not one, just because you can see I have a lot to charge here. My children need their Chromebooks charged every night, their Apple watches, phones, airpods, vacuum, all the things. And these drawers are soft clothes, and keeping them in the drawer is not only functional but beautiful, so you don't have everything out on the counter."
