While every Docking Drawer outlet comes equipped with an integrated safety feature designed to automatically de-energize power when surrounding temperatures exceed 120°F, this kit adds another layer of safety and added peace of mind by ensuring that the drawer is completely de-energized when closed.
Smart Safety Technology
This all-inclusive kit features (1) Blade Duo Outlet, (1) Safety Interlock Outlet, and (1) Blade Limit Switch, providing everything you need in one convenient package. The Safety Interlock Outlet replaces the single gang outlet that will power your drawer outlet, the Blade Series Outlet installs with ease into your drawer using only a few basic tools, and the Limit Switch fastens to the rear mounting bracket of your Blade Series outlet. When the drawer begins to open, the switch is depressed, turning ON your in-drawer outlet. As the drawer begins to close, the switch is expanded, triggering the Safety Interlock Outlet to de-energize the connected Docking Drawer outlet. The Blade Limit Switch can be adjusted to de-energize the drawer at a preferred position.
