How It Works
Determine the number of devices to be powered within the appliance garage and choose the product that will work best for your application. Available in both 15 or 20 amps, every product in this family of safety outlets features a General Purpose Limit Switch that mounts inside of the appliance garage cabinet door. This switch detects the door’s position and de-energizes the outlet and up to 4 connected devices when the door is closed, ensuring that no heat-generating appliances are left powered on inside of enclosed cabinet space.
Our Safety Interlock Outlets and General Purpose Limit Switches are listed to UL 498 and CSA 22.2 #42. The Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) has the final say on whether an installation meets the requirements of the Canadian Electrical Code.
