“Hey, this is Matt, owner and operator of Matt Moore Designs in Northeast Florida. What we do is we work with clients to design and build custom kitchens and cabinetry projects. In the conversations we have with our clients, we not only figure out the aesthetic they want for the space, but also any other issues that can be addressed to make it easier for their everyday living. Sometimes that means roll-out organizers for odd shaped items, utilizing every inch of space in the kitchen with blind corner rollouts, as well as integrated power supplies inside of drawers to get clutter off the counter that would normally be unsightly and take up space on the countertops.
The feedback we've received from our clients on Docking Drawers has been absolutely amazing.
They love how it gives a set place to plug things in such as headphones, iPad, cell phones. Super functional as far as receptacles and USB. You can really plug anything into it. And it also gets everything off the counter and gives it a dedicated home.
From an installer's point of view, we actually love putting them in. Docking Drawer gives you all the dimensions, all the cutout sizes, and it's super simple to install.
And the fact that the units [come fully corded, ready to plug in] makes it super easy for someone who's not an electrician to retrofit and get through these cabinets. In addition to the unit on the other side of the kitchen, this single drawer here located to the left of the cooktop and just below the cookbook bookcase also has a single docking drawer unit installed in it. The main purpose for this unit is for iPad or cell phone, any electronic devices that they could be used for recipes to be able to plug in, charge, brought up on the countertop when cooking, and put back away for future use. Thank you!”
