Imagine a golf enthusiast's dream setup: a custom golf storage solution that not only organizes your gear but also keeps your electronics fully charged. Chris, a creative woodworker, integrated a Docking Drawer into his client's golf caddy, transforming it into a multifunctional charging station.
This clever design features an in-drawer charging zone with 2 AC outlets, 4 USB-A ports, and 2 fast-charging USB-C (PD) ports for connecting up to 8 devices. No more cluttered countertops or awkwardly placed outlets; this innovative solution keeps everything tidy and powered up, perfect for charging a golf GPS watch and a Theragun. “As I've gotten better at woodworking, one of the things I still struggle with is building drawers. So the idea of putting an outlet into a drawer was daunting. Then i came across Docking Drawer’s Duo Blade, and could not have been a simpler process. You put the template that they provide over the back, cut the hole, toss it right through the hole, then just slip four screws right in. Then you pull it onto the back, test it out first to make sure you find the right spot. Then you put three screws in right there, toss the plate over it, in, and boom. You have a well-organized drawer with power. How freaking cool is that?”
