Docking Drawer outlets are designed to seamlessly fit into drawers with at least 2 inches of space behind the drawer box. For applications with less space—often found in closet or inset cabinets—you can use the spacer technique to install into as little as 1.25 inches of space behind the drawer box. Purchase our custom-made spacer here, or learn how to create your own in our Spec Book.
Note: The drawer box cutout is slightly larger than the outlet cut out in the spacer to make room for the Blade Series outlet arms that extend into the drawer box.

Whether in a factory or handling on-site projects, the Docking Drawer Installation Tool effortlessly enhances efficiency and accuracy.
Installation Process:
Step 1 - Place rear mounting bracket screws, included with Blade Series outlet, into the holes of the Blade Installation Tool rear mounting bracket locator
Step 2 - Extend the Blade Installation Tool rear mounting bracket locator until it is fully extended
Step 3 - With the Installation Tool installed in the cutout, close the drawer box firmly, so that the rear mounting bracket screws create indents in the back wall of the cabinet
Step 4 - Use the indentations from the screws as the location for the Blade Series outlet rear mounting bracket
