Docking Drawer’s 15 amp Safety Interlock Outlet is a single gang electrical outlet featuring one NEMA 5-15 receptacle and one interlock switch connector. Blade Series Limit Switch mounts to any 15 amp Docking Drawer Blade Series outlet to detect the drawer position and de-energize the connected Docking Drawer outlet (as well as the Safety Interlock Outlet itself) when the drawer is closed.

The Blade Limit Switch should de-energize the Blade Series outlet when the drawer is 1-2” from the fully open position. You may find it is necessary to further adjust the position of the Blade Limit Switch to de-energize the outlet at the correct drawer position to achieve proper operation.

All Docking Drawer Blade Series Outlets are listed to UL 962a and CSA 22.2 #21, and the Safety Interlock Outlet with Blade Limit Switch is listed to UL 498 and CSA 22.2 #42. *The Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) has the final say on whether an installation meets the requirements of the Canadian Electrical Code.
